Find your Tribe: Rooted and Connected

A sense of belonging and emotional security is something everyone longs for. Being heard and being there to listen are fundamental aspects of emotional support and mental wellbeing. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Heart and Mind Hub organized an insightful and heartwarming workshop titled "Find Your Tribe: Rooted and Connected" on May 16, 2025.

The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Rubina Awale, Coordinator of Heart and Mind Hub, who guided participants through meaningful conversations about community, connection, and the power of shared emotional experiences. The session focused on understanding the essence of community from the ground up—how it shapes our conversations, feelings, and sense of self.

Rooted and Connected encouraged participants to reflect on what makes them feel safe and supported within a community. Through a series of interactive and introspective activities, the workshop explored how nurturing environments foster emotional resilience and mental wellness. Participants were invited to share stories, express gratitude, and build bonds that transcended the session itself.

This workshop served as a gentle reminder that healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and valued.
