Thames School of Social Sciences hosted a poster presentation for students. The event gave an avenue for students from 2nd year to present their Abnormal Psychology term paper and 4th year for their final year research paper. This event highlighted student-led studies on diverse social science themes, including mental health, social behavior, cultural dynamics, and contemporary societal challenges.
The attendees could also take a look into their abstract through the booklet that was provided for them. This gave them an opportunity to interact with the existing presentation. Students presented on the following topics :
This was an initiative for students to build confidence, talk about their poster presentation, explain and discuss their ideas properly with others while presenting their findings, methodologies, and reflections, bridging the gap between theory and practice. The event encouraged dialogue, feedback, and collaborative learning among peers, faculty, and attendees. Moreover, it served as a platform to celebrate emerging voices in the social sciences while fostering a deeper understanding within both local and global contexts.
