Stitching Stories

Stitching Stories

Heart and Mind Hub is back again with another session, Stitching Stories, facilitated by Anita Prajapati from Samata Psychosocial Care. This session invites participants to explore storytelling and emotional expression through fabric, thread, and art. Together, students will explore how embroidery and stitching can become a creative and therapeutic practice that supports relaxation, grounding, and mindfulness through repetitive needlework.

The session also aims to create a safe, creative, and supportive space where participants can externalize stories and emotions that may sometimes be difficult to put into words, while also building meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging through collective creative practice.

Please note that the workshop will be three hours long, as working with embroidery, thread, and needle may take some time to get familiar with.
