Ms. Arishma Shrestha completed her graduate degree at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai, India on Masters in Applied Psychology specialization on Counselling Psychology in May 2015. Ms. Shrestha provided psychosocial counselling to earthquake affected populations in the displaced camps. Ms. Shrestha has designed curriculums on emotional wellbeing, and community based psychosocial intervention and executed them in remote villages of Nepal. Additionally, she has experience in designing and conducting workshops on Career Guidance, Inclusive Teaching Methods, and Personality Development to the students, parents and teachers. Ms. Shrestha gave an online talk on "Behavior Problems in Children" in November 2021 on webinar organized by Samridhhi Foundation. Ms. Shrestha is also enrolled as a trainee in Gestalt Psychotherapy Training. Currently, Ms. Shrestha teaches Psychology to the BA 1st year students at Thames International College and works as the Gender Equality, Disability, Social Inclusion (GEDSI) and Protection Lead in a Czech based NGO.
