Ad-Making Competition: Turning Ideas into Brands

Ad-Making Competition: Turning Ideas into Brands

On 11th August 2026, an Ad-Making Competition was organized as a creative platform for students to explore the power of storytelling, branding, marketing, and communication.

The competition challenged participants to transform ordinary products into compelling brands by developing creative advertisements and persuasive pitches. Rather than focusing only on making an advertisement visually appealing, participants were encouraged to think about what makes a brand memorable and how a message can connect with its intended audience.

Through their presentations, participants explored key aspects of consumer behaviour, brand identity, creativity, and marketing communication. They had to think strategically about their products, understand their target consumers, and communicate their ideas in a way that captured attention and created impact.

The competition provided students with an opportunity to take marketing concepts beyond the classroom and apply them through creativity, teamwork, and practical communication. It highlighted how an effective advertisement is not just about selling a product, but about telling a story, creating a connection, and giving a brand an identity.
